On Thursday 29th September 2011, Clarecare hosted a night of celebration as a thank you to all its volunteers. This has become an annual event at Clarecare.For the last four years Clarecare expressed its appreciation to all volunteers for their contribution to Clarecare and its services, by organising a social event. This annual event also marks the National Day of Volunteering.
This year’s event at Clarecare was a fun quiz. Also on the night, Sharon Meaney Development Co-ordinator at the Clare Volunteer Centre was presented with knitting that staff and volunteers had produced as part of the C
o. Clare Knit-A-Thon. A great night was experienced by the 80 people who attended Clarecare’s “Celebrating Volunteers” night. The night was even more special this year as it was linked with the Co Clare Knit-A-Thon, celebrating volunteering in Co. Clare.
