Counselling Services
What is Counselling?
Most of us face difficulties and challenges at some point in life. Sometimes these challenges can be overwhelming and we are left feeling helpless and stressed.
The following are some reasons people come to talk to a counsellor:
• Stress in relationships,
• Loss because of bereavement or separation
• Anxiety
• Uncertainty about finance, redundancy and job loss,
• Concerns about health,
• Worries about a family member or friend
Counselling can help you to re-examine and identify issues in life and to find more constructive ways of managing them.
With the counsellor you will explore your feelings about difficult life events and develop new ways of coping and keeping well.
Counselling offers an opportunity to enhance the quality of your own life and helps support healthy relationships with family members.
The Counselling Service offered by Clarecare is available to adults in Co. Clare and is based in the Ennis Office. People availing of the service are invited to make a donation to Clarecare.
You are welcome to refer yourself to the service or you may be referred by a doctor or other agency.
The Counselling Service can be contacted in Clarecare, Harmony Row, Ennis or by phoning 065-6828178.
