How to Support Clarecare

Funding

Clarecare spends about €7 million a year in order to provide a broad range of support services to the people of County Clare. Funding cutbacks have put many of these services under strain.

The primary source of funding is the Health Services Executive, Tusla Child and Family Agency and other statutory funders.

Additional funds come from various Trust Funds, private donations, Church-gate collections, collection boxes, bequests, and voluntary donations.

The Thrift Shops are also an important source of funds.

Fundraising

Many workgroups, organisations and individuals run fundraising events for Clarecare. Marathons, swims, walks, quizzes and concerts all raise much needed funds.

Clarecare is approved under the Scheme of Tax Relief for Donations to Eligible Charities to claim tax relief on donations, by PAYE taxpayers, of €250 and over. You can donate by cash, cheque or bank draft to Clarecare, Harmony Row, Ennis, Co. Clare, Ireland.
