The CE aims also to promote social inclusion within local communities for individuals and groups who experience obstacles to participation in the jobs market and to break down the barriers that cause social exclusion, through scheme activities. The scheme provides additional supports to local communities through the provision of a wide range of services. The service provision dimension is an important learning environment for CE participants.
The participants of Clarecare’s CE project provide a wide range of supports across all service sectors of Clarecare and throughout Co. Clare. In addition, participants gain work experience and training within their local communities.
It would be difficult for Clarecare to function without the availability of such valuable human resources.
