The Aftercare Service provides support for young people who have left, or are planning to leave, the care of TUSLA fostercare and residential services. The service is provided for young people aged 16-21 years or 23 years if they remain in education. It aims to support the young people to live independently.
The aim of the Clarecare Aftercare service is to maximise each young person’s level of independence and life skills. Young adults in Aftercare have different needs and skills and will require different levels of support to reflect their needs.
